Rutgers Early College Humanities Program (REaCH)

The Rutgers Early College Humanities Course (REaCH) provides high school students from low-income communities with the ability to take college-level, credit-granting courses in a variety of humanities disciplines. The goal is to break the cycle of poverty by helping students gain access and succeed in college. Each REaCH course enrolls approximately 25 to 30 students. Rutgers grants a certificate of achievement to students completing the courses and offers 4 to 6 college credits to students completing them at a high level of academic performance. Students can also earn high school credit for their successful participation in the course.
