Rutgers Summer Scholars Program
The Rutgers Summer Scholars Program allows ambitious and high achieving high school students, 16 years or older with a minimum GPA of 3.0, to apply to take introductory level college courses at the Rutgers New Brunswick campus during the summer to:
- Prepare for the academic rigors of college
- Gain competitive advantage for college admission
- Earn credits toward a university degree
- Check out possible majors
- Attend class with college students on a major university campus
- Fulfill a prerequisite for an advanced course before entering college
Scholarships are available.

- Population(s) Served: High school students 16 years or older with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
