Special Friends Day
An annual event held at the Cook/Douglass Recreation Center, Special Friends Day provides special needs youth ages 6 to 21 a day of fun with Rutgers University students. Each participant has two friends escorting him or her throughout the day. Activities include arts and crafts, games, food and beverages, access to the pool facility, and take-home items. Registration is limited to 100 participants.
